Title: Provider Relations Associate Analyst Location: Onsite in Plano, TX office (1640 Dallas Pkwy, Plano, TX, 75093 Duration: 12 Months Training Schedule: M-F, 8AM-4:30PM CST Ongoing Schedule: M-F, 9:30AM-6:00PM CST
Note: No absences/time off will be approved during the training period and any candidates that have pre-planned time off during September/October (or during the 6-8 week training period) should not be submitted.
Contributes to the Provider Relations job family in a support capacity. Supports and maintains positive relationships with health care professionals within the network. Provides high quality service to health care professionals. Provide assistance regarding education, contract questions and non-routine claim issues. Coordinates communications process on such issues as administrative and medical policy, reimbursement and provider utilization patterns. Assists providers in contract compliance and credentialing issues. Assists with preparation or modification of provider contracts. Completes output (documents, analyses, product) in specific work area to appropriate time and quality targets. Works under own initiative, prioritizes own work, and meets agreed timescales. Work is subject to frequent review by more experienced professionals in Provider Relations.
TOP NON-NEGOTIABLE SKILLS:
1+ Year of inbound call center experience required
Strong interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely.
Ability to convey complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand
Ability to understand and interpret complex information from others
Strong customer service skills
Computer proficiency, willing to learn new systems
Ability to work in a goal orientated environment
Ability to meet high standards for attendance
1+ year of Previous Outbound or Inbound Call Center experience
1+ year of Customer Service Experience
Prior experience working in a dental or medical healthcare environment
Basic healthcare and/or dental terminology
Intermediate PC Skills required
Ability to receive information from dental/medical terms and communicate it to others in a clear manner
Previous production experience is a plus
Ability to use multiple systems on a computer
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
