Description Our client is seeking an ESG Program Manager to assist with tasks aligned to environmental dimension of ESG reporting, including energy, greenhouse gas emissions, and other related topics. In this role, you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams, assist with researching environmental issues within a broader ESG framework and implement project management tasks.Day to DayResearch environmental topics analyze and evaluate data to contribute to ESG reporting workstreams.Work with worldwide sustainability subject matter experts to understand Amazons calculation methodology, and draft transparent summaries. This task will be focused on Amazons criteria and methodology used to calculate key metrics i.e. Net zero, 100 Renewable Energy, GHG emissions, waste, water usage.Produce clear research writeups that document key findings, gaps that need to be addressed, and draft recommendations to address those gaps.Assist with project management tasks by managing schedule of meetings, taking notes, followingup on action items, and organizing project documentation.Engage with project stakeholders to document lessons learned in project cycle management.Qualifications5 years of experience working in ESG reporting, with a focus on environmental topics incl. climate change, pollution, water, and waste.Deep understanding of ESG reporting criteria such as the GHG protocol, and also the underlying assumptions that support common ESG targets such as net zero, 100 renewable energy etc. Understanding of the emerging ESG regulatory environment Proposed SEC Rule on ClimateRelated Disclosures, CSRDESRS, ISSB.Excellent writing and documentation skills writing samples will be requiredAttention to detail and ability to use data to generate actionable insights
