As a Packaging Program Specialist PPS, you will interface with Product Management, Hardware, Program Management, and Operations teams as the focal point for Packaging Engineering. In this role, you will be involved and ensure the packaging development phases throughout the product development process are well defined and organized by taking ownership.In this role, you will: Establish and enforce uniform standards in the setup and creation of packaging Bill of Materials BOM and part numbers Work with the Agile Product Lifecycle Management PLM Team, Packaging Engineering, and Retail Program Management to ensure packaging BOMs meet customer requirements Manage artwork submissionrevision process across multiple New Product Introduction NPI and sustaining packaging programs Provide Agile documentation support and standardize packaging BOM uniformity across programs and contract manufacturers CMs Maintain Agile BOM documentation standards Ensure Revision Change Orders RCOs clearly explain reasons for the change and alert required users Gather requirements from appropriate Product Manager PM to complete the Stock Keeping Unit SKU strategy matrix in regards to regions, configurations, and sales channels. Create and manage SKUs in line with Product Development ProcessMay require a bachelors degree and 47 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unitdepartment.
