Job Description

Job Title: Project/Program Manager
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Redmond, WA
 
Job Description:
The Technical Program Management (TPM) organization is seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) to drive the planning and execution of test campaigns associated with the validation of multiple production test systems.
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Creating Jira tickets to initiate the test activity in-take process
  • Supporting on-floor issues and resolving issues with support organizations (ex. IT, SAP, SMEs)
  • Documenting test results in Confluence and leading reviews
  • Coordinating with Test System TPMs, Responsible Engineers (REs) and Production Operations focals to capture the test requirements and necessary supporting test equipment.
  • Coordinating with the test lab focals to schedule reservations for test resource (hardware and personnel) time
  • Tracking and reporting status within team-level mechanisms for broader visibility
  • Coordinating across the stakeholder community to perform timely resolution of test issues within the lab
 
Candidates should have:
  • 3-5 years industry experience as a program manager
  • Aerospace industry experience and knowledge is a plus
  • Engineering testing experience or knowledge is a plus
  • Good track record of working effectively with across different groups in the organization
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Project (or related) products
 
Required Skills:

Years of Experience:
3-5 years industry experience as a program manager
 
Degree or Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent 3-5 years industry exp is required
 
Top 3 Must-Have:
  • Ability to navigate and must have ambiguity.  Start up feel and not as many processes in place so that requires action and an ability to see through the fray.
  • Coordinating with Test System TPMs, Responsible Engineers (REs) and Production Operations focals to capture the test requirements and necessary supporting test equipment.
  • Coordinating across the stakeholder community to perform timely resolution of test issues within the lab
