Job Title: Project/Program Manager II
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 06 Months
 
Are you a passionate, self-starting Program Manager interested in facilitating Alpha, Beta, and Delta testing for products designed to reduce crime in neighborhoods? Ring is looking for a Project/Program Manager that is customer obsessed, has a bias for action, and wants to learn and be curious. You will join the Ring Insights Team in supporting our product team in managing highly successful Alpha, Beta, and Delta tests that bring new products to market.
 
Responsibilities
 
* Work cross-functional with a verity of stakeholder groups.
* Build weekly detailed reports around feedback, survey results, and metrics captured during testing.
* Ability to take action and ownership of situations with minimal guidance.
* Monitor backend metrics for all assigned programs.
* Correlate backend metrics with tester feedback to identify trends.
* Manage multiple project/programs simultaneously.
* Create test plans for Alpha, Beta, and Delta Programs.
* Create test cases with the Product Managers and Technical Program Managers for the programs you oversee.
* Create end of week reports for stakeholder for all assigned programs.
* Attend weekly business reviews to review programs assigned with leadership.
* Work with the logistics team to ship product for assigned programs.
 
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
* 3+ year of experience in Project/Program Management.
* 3+ year of experience in customer facing technical troubleshooting.
 
 
* Knowledge of Client’s Products / ecosystem is preferred.
* Experience interacting with customers verbally and digitally.
* Experience creating public facing communications.
* Experience working with various stakeholder teams (product, engineering, marketing and design).
 
Assigned test request tickets
Create intake meetings with stakeholders
Analyzing the situation based on intake (what tests needed, how to process data, etc.)
Build surveys to collect data
Builds out tests plans based on intakes
Legal/PR approval processing
Submitting tickets to community teams for outreach
Selecting/onboarding testers
Deploys the project
Attend cross-functional syncs
Weekly/bi-weekly business reviews
Working with backend software, hardware, etc. teams
Extension possible, conversion most likely not

Basic Qualifications
 
* Bachelor Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
* 3+ year of experience in Project/Program Management.
* 3+ year of experience in customer facing technical troubleshooting.
 
Preferred Qualifications
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to take action and ownership of situations with minimal guidance.
* Impeccable organization skills with attention to detail.
* Experience with data analytics, reporting results, and identifying trends.
* Experience in product quality testing of software and hardware.
* Experience conducting multiple programs at the same time while maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines.
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Tableau.
* Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing.
 
* Knowledge of Client’s Products / ecosystem is preferred.
* Experience interacting with customers verbally and digitally.
* Experience creating public facing communications.
* Experience working with various stakeholder teams (product, engineering, marketing and design).
