Job Tittle: Project/Program Manager II
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Culver City, CA – Remote
 
Description:
Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
 
Skills & Qualifications needed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field.
  • Is highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Can communicate clearly; can synthesize and communicate higher-level processes and turn into actionable tasks. Verbal and written.
  • Can build clear roles & responsibilities (RACI), task trackers, experimental intake forms and prioritization processes.
  • Minimum 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Can work Pacific Time hours.
  • Software: MS office (outlook), MS SharePoint, Assana or other PM software.
  • Quip and Slack experience are a plus.
  • Needs to be comfortable with technology and be a quick learner to pick up new software/systems.
  • Talk about how they could deliver a project plan or a complicated project, how they were able to drive the plan within a short amount of time would be a plus.
  • Needs to be detailed oriented and can get things off the ground quickly.
  • Coming from a consulting background would be a plus.
  • Need to be excellent with execution but can collaborate with HM on how to make process easier/provide suggestions.
  • Previous Amazon experience would a plus for ramp up and system knowledge.
 
Need & Key Project:
  • Contractor is covering a paternity leave on the team.
  • The Candidate will help unlock time for HM to build out the CLM marketing plan and help the rest of my team build out their marketing channel strategies, which the HM haven’t had time to do.
 
Day to Day:
  • Help manage a big project, Customer Lifecycle Management. Review is Sept 4th, will be working on action items leading up to that meeting.
  • Will need this contractor for now through EOM Sep to help me PROJECT MANAGER the Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) QBR day-to-day needs, such as:
  • Project managing the weekly 1-hour sessions with the CLM Tiger Team.
  • Setting workback schedules and tracking for monthly L8 updates (Jul, Aug, Sep).
  • Setting workback schedules and tracking for the next SVP QBR doc reviews (EOM Aug-early Sep).
  • Working across 13-20 people CLM Tiger Team to assign and track 50+ tasks and deliverables.
  • Setting up a process of CLM experiment intake and cross-business/function prioritization.
  • Massive project that has a lot a visibility with all of leadership within Prime Video.
 
KPIs:
  • Deliverables (can they deliver plans on time etc) and soft skills (can this person actually get 13-20 people from different teams to do the tasks required ex.)
 
Top Skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years Project Management Experience.
  • High communication skills, verbal and written to communicate processes to team.
  • EXP with MS Office suite, Quip/Slack and PM software.
 
Red Flags:
  • Experience in a startup/small company only.
  • No detail oriented.
  • Only worked on projects where they were told what to do. Will need to be able to work independently and as a team. Need to be able to collaborate with HM.
