Job Description

Rings Sustaining Product Integrity Team SPI can be looked at as a control tower for investigating all hardware quality issues across the Ring Portfolio. The SPI team is responsible for determining the root cause of trending field failures across all sustaining, legacy and NPI programs. The Program Manager PM role in Rings SPI Org is responsible for coordinating the delivery of straightforward projects goals targeted at improving the quality and reliability of current and future products through analysis and action of returns trends.A PM in this role is expected to define requirements around sample selection, identify blockers increase the visibility of issues driving returns trends. Rings SPI Org deals with high severity, high impact issues which require a bias for action and the ability to fluidly transition between projects based on evolving priorities while still delivering results. The PM will be responsible for assembling and leading subteams focused on root causing resolving trending failures, which includes working backwards from a problem statement to generate processes project plans along with managing stakeholder communication. This work product will then be summarized in weekly monthly updates consumed by engineering management.The PM role works across organizations and is responsible for influencing their peers manager through deep knowledge of the data systems required to analyze ongoing trends. In addition to working alongside the failure analysis team and broader engineering org, this role will independently engage with the 3rd party service center to deep dive data anomalies general integrity issues. The PM role is an expert of the data in their domain who directly impacts the ability of the SPI engineers to produce finished work product through intimate knowledge of both the product and the various channels through which trends might emerge. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 2 years of program or project management experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology Experience in MS Access and SQL Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
