Title: Project/Program Manager
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of extension)

Job Description:
The Deployment Support Services Logistics team is responsible for delivering logistics services supporting the global RDE team allowing them to provide high quality installations of Amazon products and systems worldwide. The Logistics team formalizes Amazon Robotics Deployment Engineering (RDE) partner management to drive lean, efficient logistics operations. Logistics owns and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive YOY improvements in 3PA productivity, inventory management, quality and safety. The team leads cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives, driving meeting series with all active 3PAs to ensure top performance.
The DSS Logistics Analyst will support the development, maintenance and control of Standard Operating Procedures for key Tech Deploy logistics operations. They will support day-to-day operations of TD Robotics Deployment teams and pro-actively handle core aspects of deployment materials management, including but not limited to:
  • Identifying and managing network related material issues to closure.
  • Review and proactively report-out material deliveries and inventory projections for deployment projects in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
  • Track 3rd party performance with respect to materials management on a weekly basis and ensure adherence to the service level agreement.
  • Track and confirm projects for GOG readiness.
  • Track critical material and problem service report dashboards, Supply Chain (SC) prioritization, and SC adherence to service level agreements.
  • Follow up with Problem Service Report (PSR) support groups for required actions and/or prioritization.
  • Support and guide deployment teams with material returns and disposition requests at the end of deployment projects.
  • Field ad-hoc shipment requests and/or provide guidance to ensure no discontinuities from the carriers or internal transportation team.
  • Generate and ensure timely payment of freight and PPE supplier POs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen and a capacity to dive deep to solve complex problems. Experience partnering with cross-functional business and technical teams is a requirement. The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to execute at both a tactical and strategic level with a strong attention to detail.
 
Candidate Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Project/Program manager
  • Logistics experience
  • Software development experience is a plus
  • Need to be consistent, excellent communication, critical thinking, dealing with ambiguity
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Agile, Oracle, Coupa or SAP
  • Engineering industry experience would be a plus
