Job Role: Project Manager (Transformation)
Location: Hybrid schedule - Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6 Months Contract

 
Job Description
  • You will be the liaison for cross-functional stakeholders and readiness tracks supporting the program. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements from the cross-functional readiness tracks and ensure each cross-functional team understands their role and responsibilities to engage fully and in a timely manner. You will identify business process re-engineering opportunities, internal partnership opportunities, solutions architecture, and working with partners to implement the solution in SAP and other enterprise tools. It requires an understanding of core operations throughout the supply chain to manage complex, global initiatives supporting a wide range of initiatives.
  • We work closely with the business teams to become functional leaders in Services, Payments, Quote to Cash process, including, allocation planning processes, inventory management, order management including optimization and fulfillment, reverse logistics, Procurement to Pay, etc.
  • Partner with cross-functional readiness track leads, the business and IS&T to lead projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle - from mobilization to problem definition, scoping, requirements, design, business readiness, testing and implementation.
  • Focus on strategic POCs, technical and functional assessments, projects related to supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Analyze short-term and long-term Business Risks to the respective business teams you will engage with, mitigation plans, Continuity plan for disruptions during and after S/4HANA Platform migration.
  • Negotiate with x-functional teams and business partners to remove barriers and get results, without compromising the overall quality of the end deliverable.
  • Engage with leadership, business partners, and engineering teams to develop a project timeline, key achievements, and a communication plan.
  • Prepare the business for the change: Ensuring from the very start of the project, there is a change management plan in place.
  • Ensure project objectives have been met and proper project closure with complete lessons learned.
  • Understanding and analyzing the business problems at the root and not just solving for the symptom, is critical to the success of this role.
  • You will focus on recommending process innovation and efficiencies through process analysis and building prototypes. Use cases, observations, industry trends, standard methodologies (Design Thinking, Six Sigma, Lean), groundbreaking technology and process improvement ideas to challenge the status quo and deliver extraordinary customer-focused solutions.
  Minimum Qualifications
  • MS degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Information Management (e.g., MIS), or Systems Engineering, and 7+ years of related experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record leading strategic programs, combined with the ability to implement at tactical project-level activities and tasks.
  • Experience leading transformation projects in Quote to Cash process, and developing innovative solution in the SAP S/4Hana platform and application
  • Deep understanding of Business Process and Platform Migrations, has lead efforts in solutions designing across various functions - that is scalable, stable, and efficient with a focus on customer / business voice
  • Demonstrated competence in functional design and solutions architecture
  • Experience implementing innovative Supply Chain solutions leveraging Machine Learning, Optimization, etc.
  • Has lead teams and change management strategies in driving process improvement projects
  • Experience working on projects with teams based outside the US including international engagements
  • Experience in SDLC project management and analysis including scoping / timeline management, documenting use cases, process flows/swim lane diagrams, requirements (BRD) etc, UAT, change management etc
  Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain trust, credibility
  • and build strong relationships
  • As driver in transformation projects, influence others and move toward a common vision or goal, including leading multi-functional workshops to drive consensus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, flexible, open working style and an ability to establish trust and credibility quickly.
  • Self-motivated individual who thrives working in a global, matrix, fast-paced environment.
  • Six Sigma and PMP certification is a plus
  • SAP Functional and/or technical certifications
  • Business Process Risk assessment and Continuity Planning
  • Big 4 Consulting Experience.
