Job Description:
The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising complex technology initiatives across different. The candidate will oversee systems development for major applications, define project requirements (including information and data needs and business analysis), and manage all aspects of deliverables and requirements. They'll be responsible for defining project phases, setting deadlines, managing staff, and developing project plans with clear milestones. This position also requires coordinating meetings and interfacing with business units, staff, and service providers. One of the key initiatives the candidate would own is the RTR delivery from money movement perspective.
The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects and project managers, handling broad and highly complex teams and projects with significant scope. Key accountabilities include setting direction at the operational level, working autonomously in unit management, collaborating with other business heads to establish and execute common goals, and managing large-scale applications, programs, or projects across multiple product lines. Ensuring project delivery meets approved scope, cost, schedule, and quality standards is essential. The candidate will also perform a governing role throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all phases—from proposal to closure—are completed on schedule.
Risk identification and mitigation are also part of the responsibilities, with escalation of unresolved issues to executive or steering committees as needed. Managing resource acquisition and deployment—including budget management—will be accomplished in partnership with Project Managers, ensuring the necessary resources are secured. Effective and timely communication is critical for client satisfaction, including status reporting, risk and issue management, escalation, and resolution. The candidate will work closely with senior leaders and IT Managers.
Required skills include proven leadership and experience managing large and complex IT projects, full life cycle development, experience with established project methodology tools, and expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio, Confluence, JIRA, Clarity and PowerPoint. 8-10 years of experience is also expected.
