Job Title: Project Manager I Duration: 12 Months Location: Remote
CLIENT Legal is seeking a collaborative and skilled Project Manager to join its Intellectual Property (IP) Strategic Operations team. This team empowers IP Legal with scalable strategic solutions that enable effective execution against department priorities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to adapt and be comfortable in an ambiguous environment. Strong communication and project management skills, and the ability to work independently and be responsive are essential.
Responsibilities
Project manage key projects, creating detailed project plans, and coordinating with stakeholders for timely and quality delivery
Monitor and report project progress on a regular basis; communicate project deliverables, milestones, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders in a timely manner
Help create playbooks, templates, and checklists to drive operational efficiencies, increase productivity and decrease risks
Develop maintenance plans and maintain team resources, trackers, and document organization
Support IP Legal events, including leading specific event logistics and partnering with relevant stakeholders
Manage vendor onboarding and purchase order processes
Collaborate with cross-functional partners on projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills, ability to work cross-functionally with global stakeholders
Experience thriving in a distributed, fast-paced environment and ability to solve problems through ambiguity
Proficient in Google Suite and CSS, and accustomed to learning new technologies and tools
Comfortable with contracts, ability to navigate detailed documentation
Experience supporting or managing projects and processes in a corporate law department or law firm
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of project/program management experience, driving complex projects in a cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environment
Experience creating short- and long-term project plans and timelines
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional organization, documentation, and written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently remotely
