Position Title: Project Manager, Forecasting Excellence Work Location: Mettawa, IL 60045 & North Chicago, IL 60064 (Hybrid) Assignment Duration: 18 Months
Position Summary The Project Manager, Forecasting Excellence will play a critical role in coordinating and driving the successful execution of high-impact initiatives that strengthen forecasting capabilities, data integration, and decision support across the Global Finance Forecasting Excellence organization. This individual will manage multiple concurrent projects and partner closely with Finance, BTS, external technology vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the implementation of shared data solutions, integration of forecasting models, and other enhancements that improve planning effectiveness and business insight. The role requires strong project management discipline, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to translate complex business needs into structured, executable plans. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate medium- to high-impact projects that support Global Finance Forecasting priorities, including forecasting process improvements, data infrastructure initiatives, reporting enhancements, and deployment of enabling tools
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, deliverables, risks, assumptions, and dependencies across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
Coordinate the implementation of standardized visualization and reporting tools to improve forecast communication and decision-making.
Track project scope to ensure changes are assessed appropriately and do not create unnecessary risk to timelines, budget, or quality.
Partner with Finance leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to align project goals, execution plans, and issue resolution.
Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to drive alignment, communicate progress, resolve challenges, and maintain momentum across project teams.
Identify risks, issues, and interdependencies early; escalate when needed; and work with project teams to develop practical mitigation plans.
Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, key milestones, risks, and achievements.
Apply structured problem solving and continuous improvement thinking to help teams identify solutions to challenges drive timely delivery of deliverables.
Support Change Management, communication, and adoption activities to help ensure successful implementation of new processes and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related field required.
5+ years of relevant project or program management experience, preferably within finance, forecasting, business operations, or a related environment.
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Familiarity with financial forecasting processes, planning workflows, and supporting business systems.
Experience supporting data integration, reporting, or visualization initiatives; familiarity with tools such as Power BI preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence across a matrixed environment.
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms preferred.
Experience with organizational change, communication planning, or training support is a plus.
Experience with teams located in both the United States and Europe.
