Position Title: Project Manager (Finance Integration) Length of Assignment: 9 Months Location/Site: North Chicago, IL 60064 - Hybrid Onsite (3 days in office)
Purpose: The Integration Finance Manager is responsible for management of R&D integration related activities. Areas of focus include acquisition integration activities for day 1 readiness planning, policy review and guidance, and oversee master data and support systems integrations.
Main Responsibilities:
Support integration efforts for R&D acquisitions, including day 1 readiness and systems integration activities.
Participate in senior leader meetings, provide status and related updates.
Project management of cross functional teams to enable day 1 and systems (i.e. SAP) integration activities. This includes engagement with Treasury, Tax, Risk Mgmt, R&D Functional business to enable success day one integration.
Enablement of continuity of business post day 1, including invoice processing/payment and on-going operations.
Synergy and one-time cost reporting and tracking.
Responsible for project management and oversight of client’s Operating Model Integration for R&D; including incorporating target company into client’s SAP system, Planning processes, month-end, approval process, capital, payroll, PTP and RTR.
Support/develop detailed workplans, identification of new master data, employee/contractor mapping, and SAP role mapping.
Support R&D integration items including working capital adjustment, time reporting, fixed asset review and / or capital dependent on deals.
Additional ad hoc projects as assigned.
Drive client’s culture and ways of working.
Qualifications:
Finance or Accounting degree. 6-8+ year experience in corporate environment.
Knowledge of corporate finance and FP&A experience desired.
Strong analytical skills, ability to synergize data into information to make decisions.
Project management experience.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and challenging environment.
