Job Description

Job title: Project Lead
Duration: 12 Months

Location: Georgetown, KY

Detailed Job Description:
1.     Manage overall Capital Budget program
2.     Primary point of contact for overseeing Operating Budget                                                                                                                  
3.     Develop KPI and visualization tools to accurately and concisely report on budget status                                                                                                         
4.     Provide engineering and project management support for activities at non-manufacturing sites                                                                                        
5.     Manage overall project schedule and budget including management reporting.                                                                                                         
6.     Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, budget, safety, and current open issues. 
7.     Monitor contractor performance as to safety, cost and schedule performance tracking.         
8.     Development of detailed user criteria documentation for project implementation activities. 
9.     Development of scope of work for the procurement of materials and labor.                                                                                                                
10.   Review Specifications, Utility Standards, Drawing Reviews, and coordination  with customers. 
11.   Monitor and coordinate architect/engineer site visits and responses to contractor inquiries. 
12.   Monitor delivery and review of shop drawings and submittals.                                                                                                                          
13.   Coordinate update and review meetings with contractors and consultants to monitor progress on activities.                
14.   Provide an initial review of vendor and contractor payment applications, validating actual project progress against approved schedule of values.                                                                                                                     
15.   Evaluate, negotiate, and make recommendations regarding proposed change directives & change orders. 
16.   Oversee the contractor’s Quality Control program and ensure Quality Control procedures adhere to the plans.
Required Qualifications:
Educational Level: Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Engineering, Architecture or Construction management. 
1.      Experience managing complex budgets                                                                                                                      
2.      Construction project management experience +5 years working on multiple projects simultaneously
3.      Experience with individual project construction types of various scope and size.
4.      Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule management
5.      Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).               

Additional Qualifications:
1
.       Technical knowledge and understanding of project scheduling and estimating
2.       General understanding of construction safety programs and requirements                                                                                                               
3.       Software capabilities: AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Microsoft Visio
