Project Coordinator IV

Remote, ideally on the West Coast
 
Summary:
  • Client is searching for a Project Coordinator to facilitate and support supplier tooling and communications initiatives. This individual will work collaboratively with key stakeholders in Procurement Operations, Sourcing (Source to Pay), Finance, Enterprise Products, Legal, and numerous business unit vendor management teams to develop and implement supplier tooling projects. Internally - this individual will work to identify root causes, gather feedback from stakeholders, develop product requirements, and ideate potential solutions. They will work to ensure consensus and alignment on product enhancements and process changes - including communication of change management protocols. Externally (i.e. towards Client’s suppliers) - this individual will be responsible for driving adoption (promoting usage), process compliance, executing launch of product functionality, developing robust policies, developing success metrics, and monitoring impact throughout the supplier lifecycle. They should have excellent communication and customer experience skills.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Build and foster cross-functional relationships. Proactively engage stakeholders to gain understanding of and build out problem statements. Ideate on potential solutions and the impact those may have on established business processes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of operational constraints/barriers to gaining adoption. Demonstrate operational understanding of assigned process area(s). Constantly problem-solve, innovate, improve, and optimize supplier performance, management, and engagement.
  • Assist in developing user acceptance test scenarios to ensure product enhancements are ready for external launch
  • Support cross-functional initiatives by advocating for the supplier experience and incorporating perspectives that ensure holistic solutions
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and deliver compelling communications and training to educate, influence and inform stakeholders internally and externally about supplier projects, processes and tools, data insights, and improvement opportunities.
  • Create and track key performance indicators and success metrics through dashboard creation (Thoughtspot, Tableau, etc.) and distribute reports to stakeholders
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in business, procurement, finance or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management and Procurement Strategy.
  • Process/project management or consulting experience
  • Experience in evaluating, developing and implementing supplier portals, tooling, and technology
  • Experience in driving awareness and utilization of new product enhancements and features
  • Procurement systems/processes/tools experience
  • Experience balancing multiple initiatives at once
  • Experience driving change and improving end-to-end processes
 
Surrounding team & key projects:
  • Supplier tooling and management, part of procurement operations.

  • Execution in coordinator projects

  • Our tools are homegrown as supposed to working with 3rd party tools, they are creating and developing tools from scratch.

  • Procurement transformation, or finance transformation, for suppliers
  • Exception metric development and data analysis

  • Working through ambiguity, needs to work in the gray

  • Consulting experience
  • Product ownership
  • Worked at tech company in previous years
 
Years of overall experience required?     
  • 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Supplier Management
