Job Description

Title: Project Administrator II
Location: West Valley City, UT - 84120
Duration: 12 months (Temp to Hire position)
Shift Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Possible overtime)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid, at least 3 days in office)

Description:

The Client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Administrator with 4+ years of experience to manage essential duties related to our customers' CJIS Personnel Security background screening process. This hybrid position requires you to be in the West Valley, UT office three days per week, with the flexibility of telework for the remaining days.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day tasks related to the CJIS Personnel Security background screening process.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential PII, including personal background information.
  • Perform timely and accurate data entry before and after the background screening approval process.
  • Assist internal CJIS team employees to enable the company's employees to work as contractors for Criminal Justice Agency customers.
  • Understand the operation of a Livescan machine or complete paper fingerprint cards as a back-up.
  • Maintain records, track information, and manage the credentialing documentation workflow.
  • Communicate changes to customers and prepare reports on project staff working with customers.
  • Assist customers and team members with CJIS audits of project personnel.
  • Request/validate and securely store photographic ID cards to verify applicant identification according to FBI/state standards.
  • Learn to roll/scan legible, clear, and acceptable fingerprint impressions.
  • Perform daily tasks including maintaining employee profile setups, record data entry, follow-ups with employees/supervisors, producing shipping labels, and assisting with packaging and shipping.
  • Enter associated expenses into MSI accounting systems, set up training accounts for employees, and notify them in a timely manner.
  • Produce statistical number count reports.
  • Assist remote employees in locating options for processing fingerprints near their home locations.
  • Maintain a professional office atmosphere and ensure the security of credentialing documents.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure of timelines and high-volume workload.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Google Sheets, Microsoft Word/Google Docs, MSFT One Drive/Google Drive.
  • Knowledge of the client's public safety offerings and CJIS Security Policy is a plus.
  • Experience with CJIS Manager software is a plus.
  • Ability to learn and operate associated software for processing fingerprint cards or electronic submissions to customers or state CJIS regulators.
  • Knowledge of CABEM and CJIS Manager assistance.
