Job Title: Program Manger IV (SW&HW Integration)
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Pittsburgh, PA, 15222 (Some travel involved to LA and NY)

Pay rate starts from $80/hr (W2) Negotiable

Summary:
  • For this role, RLR Codec Avatars is looking for an exceptional Program Manager to join our team. If your passion and experience lies in working with multidisciplinary teams and streamlining logistical processes; helping your team through coordination in the face of ambitious and ambiguous challenges; while taking on work that has never been done before, we might have a spot for you.
Must-Have HARD Skills:
  • Hardware and software integration experience (developing workflows)
  •  Project management experience
  •  Ability to track budgets and do estimations.
Nice-to-have Skills:
  • User experience studies
  •  Working with cross functional teams (researchers, software, and hardware engineers)
  •  Handling sensitive data.
How many rounds of interviews?
  • 2 rounds
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating with multiple teams regarding logistics for a mobile data collection system which includes preparation for new sites, site deployment and maintenance while data collection operations are in progress.
  • Partnering with operations lead to make recommendations regarding mobile capture system logistics by analyzing system readiness, resource needs, procedural modifications, and training.
  • Keeping partners and stakeholders informed and involved.
  • Being able to represent your project status throughout the organization, to be able to build the appropriate communication channels both within and outside the team.
  • Setting and maintaining expectations.
  • Ensuring the team understands project goals and timelines; Convey high priority issues to engineering teams for resolution.
  • Being responsible for the rules of reality. Ensuring work is adequately resourced and scoped. Effectively escalating or directly resolving resourcing issues to accomplish the team’s mission.
  • Keeping the team unblocked and effective. Ensuring the operations team members are able work at their highest potential; conflicts (both technical and interpersonal) have paths toward resolution to allow the team to move forward.
  • Maintain team budget including tracking, reporting status, and procurement coordination Logistics and vendor management.
  • Travel 25% of the time to future and current sites.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • 2+ years of program management experience.
  • Experience with hardware and software integration, developing operational workflows.
  • Project management, leadership, task tracking, dependency management and cross-group collaboration experience.
  • Experience leading a project from concept to completion.
  • Communication/presentation ability through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to track budgets and create reliable quarterly estimates.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in user experience studies and/or data collection.
  • Experience developing user study procedures and implementing staff training programs.
  • Experience working with a cross-disciplinary team of researchers, software engineers and hardware engineers.
  • Demonstrable experience in risk management, managing sensitive data, assessing study risks and mitigating study risks.
Surrounding team & key projects:
  • overview of data collections process, prepping new sights, Deployment, Maintenance/operations of data sights, unblocking issues, Budget and tracking for funding as sights are being built out.
