Title: Program Manager IV

Overview
Client’s Legal team is seeking a collaborative, innovative, and skilled Program Manager to join the Head of Legal Community and team within the LegalOps Project Management Office. This person will help bring focus, delivering results, and cohesion to growing central community and connection initiatives. This team develops, executes, and scales high-impact, high-visibility central programs that foster an inclusive and connected Legal Org, builds community across employees, and engages and retains the talent.

Responsibilities
  • Project manage various Legal events, including org-wide and regional summits, all hands, special initiatives, drafting communications, leading logistics, and partnering with relevant stakeholders.
  • Own Community Development programs including volunteer tool management, volunteer communications, oversight of local activities and relationship managers, and donation processing end-to-end.
  • Support talent development programs for early career and mid-career through internal strategy and partnerships with external organizations; drive new process for earning continuing learning education credits across the Legal org.
  • Drive New Hire Onboarding experience and program goals for tool adoption, manager/guide enablement, organization of resources to accelerate role readiness, and collaboration on building a welcoming, effective, consistent, and positive onboarding experience for all Legal new hires.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and maintain cohesion across initiatives, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the activity needed from partners and stakeholders.
  • Track program budget, expenses, and manage purchase order processing.
  • Develop and manage relationships with relevant internal and external partners.

  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time while on multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Event planning and logistics management.
  • Teamwork and developing cross-functional partnerships.
  • Communications drafted for a global audience, at all levels of the organization, using various channels and mediums.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with community engagement initiatives or working with or in support of nonprofit organizations.
  • Experience leading programs with colleagues volunteering their time.
  • Experience with product and/or internal tool pilots, adoption, and ownership.
  • Proven skills in creative approach to solving problems, and confident with drafting communications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment and ability to solve problems through ambiguity and changes in priorities.
  • Expert event planning skills creating in-person and global events and employee engagement experiences.
  • Operational excellence and exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with acute attention to detail and an eye for developing processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite, and accustomed to learning new technologies and tools.
  • Experience working on an in-house legal team or in Human Resources and on a global team.
Must-have skills
  • Experience managing events and employee experience programs for large scale orgs (full end-to-end process)
  • Experience with new hire onboarding/orientation and strategy for new hire success
  • Experience with tool implementation or adoption. Ability to build engagements on a new platform
Nice-to-have skills
  • Work with talent development, coaching training, legal not required but great to have.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders, preferably within big tech
  • Experience with processing of POs and budget management
