Job Title: Program Manager - Infrastructure - Lead
Location: Libertyville, IL 60048
Duration: 12 months
 
Description:
Project/Domain Overview: Libertyville is CLIENT vector manufacturing facility part of the Cell therapy network. CLIENT will be implementing next generation IT infrastructure capabilities at the site in accordance with global standards. Additionally, CLIENT will be implementing technology solutions and systems as part of multi-year IT roadmap to support business growth as well as integrating the site with enterprise systems. The role of the Sr. PM includes but not limited to managing assigned IT projects, support site IT lead in portfolio reporting, management of project financials in CLIENT’s Servicenow PPM system.
 
Outline of key responsibilities & deliverables:
  • Initiation and Planning: Drive initiation and planning for assigned IT roadmap projects, collaborate with business owners, IT owners, enterprise IT partners, implementation partners in developing business case, build project budget estimates, Microsoft project schedule and all project planning deliverables (Charter, Project Plan, Resource plan, forecasts, Governance structure)
  • Execution and Control: Drive execution of all project deliverables by effectively collaborating with the delivery teams from across enterprise IT, site IT, vendor teams and business functions as necessary. Collaborate with Enterprise IT PMs, engineering PMs as necessary to build integrated project schedule and seamless execute. Schedule and facilitate governance reviews, workstream status meetings, status reporting, record and manage RAID log, communicate with all required project stakeholders. Manage budget vs. actuals, review with the delivery owners, vendor leads budget vs. actual variances and proactively control costs to stay within budget. Follow change control process.
  • Portfolio Financial and Reporting: Support Site IT lead and Global IT PMO lead on tracking and managing portfolio financials using CLIENT tools. Closely collaborate with other Site PMs, enterprise PMs / support other Site PMs in status reporting.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Given the distributed delivery model and several teams coming together to deliver, active collaboration and effective communication with cross-functional teams, other project leads, Enterprise IT leads etc. is critical for successful delivery.
 
Experience and Skills:
  • Must have 5+years’ experience with project management of IT Infrastructure Projects (Data Center Build out, Infrastructure modernization, Legacy Infrastructure migration, Cloud migration). Must have Project Management experience in building all layers of IT infrastructure
  • Must have GMP and computer systems validation experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • 5+ years of end-to-end project management across IT infrastructure projects, Data center, manufacturing automation, Cyber security, IT software development, COTS, SaaS application implementation
  • Expert and Hands-on experience in using Microsoft project professional, planned vs. actual tracking, reporting out of MPP
  • Use of project portfolio management tools such as Servicenow, MS Project Server, Servicenow PPM, Clarity PPM with financial tracking is preferred
  • Experienced in leadership presentations, communications and independently facilitating status meetings, governance reviews
  • Demonstrated ability in collaborative leadership, leading without authority, team player, hands-on PM
  • Excellent presentation skills, written communication skills, use of Microsoft officetimeline, teams collaboration, sharepoint tools
  • Must be able to multi-task, flexible, agile, responsive, takes responsibility, be collaborative and team player
  • Not looking at technical architect or Infrastructure delivery leads – Need seasoned PMs who plan, manage and drive cross functional collaboration, execution excellence, PMO rigor, use of standard project management practices, processes and tools
  • Must be excellent communicator and team player
  • Atleast 5 years of End to End IT Project Management Experience in a PM role and preferably in a PMO Setting
