Job Description

Job Title: Program Manager III (Ads)
Duration: 12 months with possibility for extension.
Location: Menlo Park, CA, 94025
Summary:
  • As a Program Manager, you will be part of the AIP specialist team and will be collaborating closely with multiple internal partner teams to triage their projects, analyze, and understand projects. Working closely with teams to help them move their projects forward with quality reducing back and forth thrashing. The goal of the Ads Interfaces Platform team is to enable an ever-growing number of teams to deliver advertiser experiences that are increasingly interconnected.
  • The successful candidate will work with internal teams to help them understand and follow the intake processes we have defined. As the AIP specialist, your challenge will be to work with many different personalities with strong POVs and keep the projects moving forward. You will have to juggle different projects, keeping them organized and be able to quickly context shift. It helps to have an ability to build relationships and show empathy for our partners and Ads teams.
  • We’re seeking a person with strong project management skills, analysis, triage and tech industry experience and great passion for the advertising community.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Analyze and triage incoming projects working with stakeholders to prepare for review.
  • Confer with management, product and design staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Direct teams for review product designs and changes.
  • Consult or negotiate with internal clients to prepare project specifications.
  • Respond to new project requests that come in via the online tool. Review initial information, follow up with the requestor on any info gaps.
  • Run and drive partner integration meetings to ensure completeness on projects.
  • Follow-up, to ensure nothing falls between the cracks.
  • Communicate weekly status reports to the product team and management.
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects.
  • Be able to quickly get up to speed on the various Ads teams and build relationships with the owners so you can work closely with them.
Technical Responsibilities:
  • Executional and ongoing enforcement of the rules and guidelines from the available framework playbooks or the Principles in all projects building into Ads Manager interface during the Build and Rollout phases.
  • Triage Projects / Diffs that do not comply with the framework playbooks and report the non-compliance.
Skills:

  • Strong leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Must Have / Non-Negotiable:
  • 4+ years of project management or producer experience in the tech or agency industry
  • 2+ years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices for web services
  • Communication, organization, management and people skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking capabilities.

  • Working across 3 cross functional teams.
