Summary:
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc. Additionally, this role requires direct operational support for company’s processes, improvements and internal or external initiatives.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and leading implementation efforts as needed
  • Perform, organize and streamline operational tasks across various departments to reduce the risk for potential errors
  • Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
  • Provide technical assistance to clients and staff
  • Monitor for problems and acting when required or escalating to the operations manager when needed
  • Action activities that are associated with the production of the products the company offers
  • Handle problems in a calm and collected manner, even when under pressure
 
Skills:
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
 
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field; candidates with relevant experience will also be considered
  • Program or Project Management experience
  • Strong technical literacy
 
Years of Experience:
  • 2-4 years
 
Must-Have Skills:
         1. Prior tech experience (not necessarily FANG)
         2. Track record of being able to deliver projects independently, demonstrated autonomy in ambiguous circumstances
         3. Blend of technical experience (not an engineer but an understanding of tech and tools, writing/editing wiki pages)
 
Nice-to-Have Skills:      
         1. Documentation – Improvements to Internal Wiki
         2. CMS Internal Tooling
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • 2 projects; (1) ongoing support for improving OnCall system (internal technical support but not from IT perspective, CMS internal tooling Bespoke internal tools) and (2) making improvements to internal Wiki (strong documentation Wiki experience)
 
About the Team:
  • Team focus on V/R games and applications – launch every game/application in the Quest store. Team works with many cross-functional partners
 
How is success defined?
  • Ability to ramp up quickly, independently. Perform OnCall responsibilities. Volume of internal projects completed by the end of the contract.
