Job Description

Job Title: Program Manager I
Duration: 4+ months
Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)
 
Summary:
The main function of a regional marketing (non-IT) program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate the development and deployment of marketing activities.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Confer with internal clients, management, production and marketing staff across different countries and time zones to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Document project specifications and decisions, and share with applicable stakeholders.
  • Assign resources, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Manage the creative workflow, translations, reviews and approvals, and version controls.
  • Direct, review and approve product designs and changes.
  • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Strong ability to delegate work, communicate expectations, and hold team members accountable.
  • Strong collaboration, leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Strong knowledge of creative and digital marketing production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing effective production workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
  • Strong knowledge or creative workflows and creative project management software like Adobe Workfront, Podio, or JIRA
 
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience with digital marketing production, execution, and measurement practices.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 2-5 years experience required.
