Description:
Job Summary:
The Program Manager will work closely with the Director of the Virtual Care Portfolio and the Managers within the Virtual Care team to support governance, programs, and executive level communications. This role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The program manager will collaborate with executives, clinical stakeholders, and the portfolio owners to manage strategic program roadmaps, support governance groups, and create/maintain dashboards using Smartsheet and Google Sheet and ServiceNow.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with Director develops program goals and creates materials to share and track progress.
  • Creates and maintains portfolio roadmaps, reports, slides, etc. to support all virtual care projects/programs.
  • Leads cross-functional teams and ensures we are meeting goals and objectives.
  • Manages program through building relationships and working to resolve roadblocks and challenge.
  • Creates, manages, and reports on program budget while adjusting plans as needed.
  • Communicates and documents program outcomes and progress metrics through various reporting tools including Google Suite of products.
  • Actively monitors and resolves project issues to ensure program stays is positioned for strategic delivery.
  • Working closely with Director and Managers within Virtual Care on the prioritization of work.
  • Supporting Virtual Care Director and Managers with presentations, reports, and key projects that cross multiple areas.
  • Coordinate with the Strategic Realization Office and other departments to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Work independently to meet deliverables and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Supports governance structure with materials needed for monthly and quarterly meetings, tracking and reporting of program progress, managing intake and prioritization views for stakeholder presentation, ensuring follow up items are assigned and completed.
  • In collaboration with portfolio and application owners, serve as a primary point of communication, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders, executives, and senior leadership.
 
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical systems analysis or a related focused role (e.g., data analyst, project coordinator with technical skills).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including executive level communication.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines without close supervision.
  • Ability to drive program management components including creating budgets and executive level content.
  • Ability to analyze information shared and extrapolate relevant pieces of information and apply to new work.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, including Sheets (advanced formulas VLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS), Google Forms, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sites.
  • Experience with Smartsheet (Grid, Timeline, Dashboard) and creating reports using formulas a plus.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare application concepts is required.
  • Experience in project coordination and stakeholder engagement is required.
  • Project Management Professional certification is required.
  • JIRA Experience a plus
  • Virtual Care Experience a plus, health care experience is required
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
