Must Haves:
non-negotiable skills:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with marketing and communications, including influence/conversion copywriting and content strategy.
  • Direct-to-consumer communication experience in the healthcare industry
  • Digital product UX content experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, patient behavior, and emerging technologies in content marketing.
  • Experience using Figma design, Figjam collaboration, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint expertise a plus,) async chat tools (Slack, Webex Chat, etc.), Confluence, SharePoint, and OneDrive
 
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Writing, Healthcare, or a related field required.
  • Clinical background in an academic or medical setting (Nursing, Physician’s Assistant, Behavioral-related field, etc.) or degree/training in Health Communications (Not required but preferred).
 
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of health communications
  • Direct to consumer communication experience in the healthcare industry
  • Strong writing and editorial skills with a clear, concise style and excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Proficiency in health literacy and communicating complex clinical information to consumer audiences
  • Experience using Figma design, Figjam collaboration, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint expertise a plus,) async chat tools (Slack, Webex Chat, etc.), Confluence, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Proficiency in health literacy and communicating complex clinical information to consumer audiences
  • Proven work experience as a Content Strategist, Content Marketer, or similar role in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and strategies in a healthcare context.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • An understanding of the science of behavior change and how to apply behavioral influence techniques in the areas of patient activation, engagement, and improving health outcomes.
  • Experience in Agile and rapid test and learn environments.
  • Experience with data analysis and content performance tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas in the healthcare space.
  • Familiarity with content taxonomy, content style guidelines, and content management.
 
About Role:
As an Engagement Content Strategist, you'll be part of a dynamic team revolutionizing healthcare and services for over 170 million people globally. Our Content Strategy and Delivery team is dedicated to designing and executing groundbreaking experiences fueled by data insights and content expertise, aimed at reshaping healthcare in innovative ways. In this role, you'll be pivotal in crafting and implementing content strategies that foster engagement, educate, and empower our healthcare audience. Working closely with diverse teams, you'll create compelling, on-brand content across platforms to support our healthcare objectives. We're looking for a strategic thinker well-versed in healthcare trends, patient behavior, and digital marketing.
Collaborate with product and communication teams to achieve outcomes using predictive modeling, multi-channel strategies, and experimental programs.
Strategically consider content scalability across various channels, conditions, and behaviors.
Drive personalization and performance in partnership with analytics and content delivery teams.
Develop and implement content strategies tailored to use cases, populations, channels, and frequency.
Apply behavioral influence techniques to boost activation, engagement, and health outcomes.
Conduct comprehensive research on healthcare trends, clinical journeys, patient preferences, and competitors to shape content strategy.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to create impactful, engaging content across diverse channels.
Leverage insights from experiments and campaigns for continuous improvement.
Monitor and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and tools, making data-driven suggestions for enhancement.
Keep abreast of emerging content trends, technologies, and platforms in the healthcare industry to refine content strategy and engagement efforts.
Ensure brand consistency and compliance with healthcare regulations and guidelines in all content.
Stay updated on healthcare regulations, patient privacy, and content creation and distribution best practices.
