Job Description
Oversee supply chain initiatives, working cross-functionally with sourcing, planning, product, and engineering teams to balance commercial and technical trade-offs.
A successful candidate will leverage experience in global supply chain management, and a self-driven approach to achieving sustained operational excellence and cost optimization.
Key Job Responsibilities
Work cross-functionally with supply chain teams dedicated to the supply chain design, sourcing and logistics decisions, and supply chain execution of programs through the product development cycle.
Act as a single point of contact for program resources to communicate supply chain decisions and progress, provide feedback on supply chain implications of program decisions and changes, and support financial planning and capital approvals for the program.
Synthesize inputs from Sourcing, Planning, Logistics, Engineering, and Finance to create balanced recommendations that drive operational excellence, cost reduction targets, and supply chain resilience
Execute cost reduction roadmaps measuring total cost of ownership including spares, service, replacements, tariffs, and logistics impacts
Own lead time optimization analysis with clear reduction roadmaps and transparent reporting
Maintain ownership of supply chain requirements throughout GA and end-of-life phases
Coordinate cross functional implementation for post-launch design changes (ECOs)
Drive root cause analysis and process improvements that prevent future occurrences, ensuring sustained operational excellence across the product lifecycle
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, or related field
3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or product operations management in electromechanical commodities
Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into actionable insights
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority (matrix management)
Experience with supplier relationship management and performance tracking
Knowledge of global hardware and electromechanical supply chains
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in robotics, electromechanical systems, or similar technology-intensive industries
Background in both NPI (New Product Introduction) and sustained operations supply chain management
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or product operations management with direct responsibility in multiple commodities (electromechanical, metals, plastics, ICs, etc)
Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain Management, or Engineering)
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and PLM tools (Agile)
Demonstrated success in cost reduction and lead time optimization initiatives
Experience with scenario planning and risk mitigation in complex supply chains
Knowledge of tariff management and trade compliance
Strong presentation and executive communication skills
Experience with Product Development Process (PDP) frameworks
High degree of autonomy in decision-making with clear judgment on when to escalate versus resolve independently

Strategic Sourcing / Commodity Management Exposure — Experience managing or collaborating on sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, cost reduction roadmaps, and second-source qualifications across electromechanical commodities. In the absence of direct managing supplier relationship, explicit examples of directly contributing to such strategies is required
Supply Chain Planning & Lead Time Optimization — Ability to drive lead time reduction, scenario planning, clear-to-build/deploy shortage resolution, and capacity alignment with demand forecasts.
Data Analytics & Reporting — Strong analytical skills to synthesize data from multiple sources (cost, supplier readiness, quality, lead time) into actionable insights and consolidated performance reporting.
