Job Description

Title: Producer Services Specialist (Part time)
Location: Whitehouse Station NJ USA 08889
Duration: 6 Months
Job schedule-20 hours per week- MTW in office Thurs/Fri remote, 4 hour days
Job Hours-8-12 manager can be flexible
 
Job Summary:
 The primary functions for this position that is part of our Producer Services team are:
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and creating records for Agents (Set up identifying codes for existing producers in internal systems).
  • Update internal systems with key data on a timely basis.
  • Monitor internal dept mailbox for requests for appointments/codes/address changes.
  • Store contracts and documents in electronic repository
  • Assist on projects in support of business needs.
  • Assist team where needed.
  • Process appointments/terminations if needed.
  • Process mass data updates
 
Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products-please provide specific knowledge and which MS applications?
  • Excel-do they need data entry only skills or, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formula knowledge? HM would like this experience
  • Word-Will they need to know how to navigate Word and to what degree? Or are they using Word Templates?
  • Outlook-Will they need to manage multiple calendars or respond to emails, and may be using templates and free form
  • Access
  • Power Point
  • Can you please provide any other hard skills needed? The only one you provided was Microsoft Office Products.
  • Experience with Data Entry
  • High attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills
 
Education/Experience:
  • What education level? Associates Degree preferred
  • Insurance industry experience preferred -how many years’ experience?
 
Any role that required attention to detail in the day to day workings of the role.
