Job Description

Title: Procurement Analyst
Hours: 8-5 M-F
Remote/Hybrid/In-Person: Remote
Location: Must be in EST or CST, and can work in either time zone
Assignment Duration: 3 Months

Summary
  • This candidate will provide ongoing support Procure-to-Pay platform users by providing training materials, assisting with issue escalation.
  • Understands Supply Chain, Finance (including Accounts Payable) and Field Operations
  • Provides excellent customer service during client escalations and issue resolution
  • Manage support tickets to SLA
  • Ongoing Support
  • Point of contact for support teams, user and client issues/questions
  • Manage all business process and system escalations through the proper channel
  • Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of the business process
  • Provide additional support to the Procurement Platform Owners and myBuy support teams as needed
  • Deliver training to end users as needed and assist in creating job aids or tip sheets
 Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from four-year College and/or University.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training.
  • Experience working with standard accounting systems reports and data feeds.
  • Functional knowledge of procurement practices and requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information.
  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.
  • Conducts basic financial analysis. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Software.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Problem solving, mathematical analysis and knowledge of accounting preferred.
  • The purpose of this position is to design and analyze reports based on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management and performance of suppliers and vendors.
  • Designs and implements reports to support account, client, and global sourcing requirements.
  • Maintain data integrity of databases and make changes as required to enhance accuracy, usefulness and access.
  • Collects and rationalizes data from multiple sources. Ensures data integrity and accuracy.
  • Coordinates with global souring team and peers to aggregate data align reporting.
  • May provide training to new and existing users of database and reports. Other duties may be assigned No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
  • May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
  • May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
  • Decisions made with understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines.
  • Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.

  • Bachelor's Degree
 Systems/Software proficiencies:
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Coupa, Peoplesoft, and JDE proficiency is required
 
Top 5 Must have Skills:
  • Experience using Coupa, Peoplesoft, and JDE
  • Ability to work productively and influence change within a large, complex organization
  • Understanding of procurement, accounting, and finance processes
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail, and accuracy, within a high-volume work environment
