Job Description

Role: Power Platform Specialist
Job Location: Montreal, Canada (Hybrid)
Duration: 7+ months (Potential of Extension)

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator / Power platform specialist with knowledge of Azure services to join our team. As a Support specialist, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of our Dynamics 365 environments. You will be in a user facing role and will be required to collaborate often with internal development teams & Microsoft support to ensure a smooth user experience on the Sales & Marketing D365 products.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, including system configuration, customization, access, and security management.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Administer & configure Sales & Marketing products of Dynamics 365
  • Proactively monitor our ServiceNow incident queue for Dynamics 365 specific tasks, take ownership and provide timely support to end users as per our defined SLAs.
  • Route enhancements & bugs to internal development team or Microsoft as per our standard processes
  • Engage Microsoft support on product specific issues, Expedite and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand user requests & issues in detail and work with internal development team as required.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, and customizations to enhance system functionality and automate business processes.
  • Monitor system health/performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Conduct data audits and ensure data integrity within the Dynamics 365 environment.
  • Provide end-user training when required and create comprehensive documentation to promote effective utilization of Dynamics 365.
  • Stay up to date with the latest features and enhancements in Dynamics 365 and recommend best practices to optimize system performance and user experience.
  • Regularly monitor existing integrations between Dynamics 365 and other business systems / applications. Report on failures, troubleshoot and pinpoint the root cause.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Maintain system documentation, including system configurations, customizations, and user guides.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft power platform administrator or a similar role.
  • Proven work experience on Sales & Marketing products of Dynamics 365
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, including configuration, customization, and security management.
  • Experienced on system integration and data migration within Dynamics 365.
  • Competent in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on Dynamics 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics for big data and analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and version control.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation and deployment.
  • Understanding of Azure security and compliance best practices.
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Azure AD B2C for identity and access management.
  • Experience with Azure monitoring and diagnostics tools, such as Azure Monitor and Azure Application Insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly desirable. Especially Sales, Marketing & Power platform related certifications or Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate.
