Title: Policy Reporting Admin Support Location: Philadelphia, PA USA 19106 Duration: 6 months (Temp to Perm) Work schedule-during training and learning the role, the schedule will be hybrid Tues, Wednesday, Thursday in office and Monday/Friday WFH
Summary: This position will monitor and manage the incoming communication to a group mailbox, distributing as appropriate. The incoming communication is quite varied and time sensitive. Secondly, this position will read, organize, and prepare the required documentation for the payment of Workers' Compensation policy reporting fines. The invoices, in some cases, will need to be downloaded from State bureau sites. In other cases, letters, lists, etc., are received in our team mailboxes. Depending on the state involved and the internal business unit, there are different processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Read incoming communication to the team mailbox and determine appropriate distribution/action.
Prepare, examine, analyze, organize, and communicate incoming fines.
Reconcile fine statements to invoices, applying any credits received.
Send email reminders out to various Processing Centers and Underwriters for responses and resolution of open issues.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
Ability to work independently and to manage one’s time.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word (general knowledge), Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot table, formulas (sum, division, %)
Education/Experience:
Associates or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting or related financial discipline required, or related work experience equivalent.
1-2 years administrative, financial and/or accounting experience required, preferably within Accounts Payable or working with invoices.
