Job Description: The Physical Security Assistant Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all new physical security projects and tasks that impact Chubb operations in North America. This role requires a proactive approach to managing physical security projects while ensuring alignment with the requirements from Global Security (GS), Global Corporate Real Estate (GCRE), and GS Security Vendors. The Assistant Project Manager will report directly to the Global Security Lead of North America, with a dotted line to the Director of Technical Security, North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison for Global Security on physical security projects, coordinating with GCRE and Security Vendor Project Managers to ensure seamless communication and execution.
Develop and implement project management techniques to ensure the timely completion of physical security projects.
Assist in the initial walkthrough of physical security projects with GCRE and Security Vendor Project Managers to verify that access control and camera systems designed by the Director of Technical Security meet the needs of each office.
Participate in GCRE IT & Owner, Architect, & Contractor (OAC) meetings to ensure Global Security’s involvement during all phases of planning, construction, and security system delivery.
Assist in the final walkthrough of projects to identify and rectify any issues with security systems, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Create and enforce policies and standard operating procedures to guide the request, acceptance, design, and execution of physical security projects.
Learn and utilize the Resolver software to track all current and new projects through the database.
Learn the Security Risk Assessment module within the Resolver database to manage the regional security risk assessment program, conduct site assessments, and recommend mitigations in accordance with Global Security Policy and local regulations.
Ensure regional security policies are developed, reviewed, and compliant with Global Security Policy.
