Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist with hands-on experience in venipuncture. This role primarily focuses on blood collection, requiring candidates to be confident and capable of performing autonomous draws in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of autonomous venipuncture experience (excluding school/externship)
• Must be comfortable with blood draws as the primary responsibility
• Strong patient interaction and specimen handling skills

Education / Certification Requirements:

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
• Completion of Medical Assistant training through any branch of the armed forces
• Possess a Medical Assistant certification from an organization accredited by NCCA or ANSI (must also have completed MA training program)

Accepted Certifications:

• AMCA – American Medical Certification Association
• AMT – American Medical Technologists
• AAMA – American Association of Medical Assistants
• NHA – National Healthcareer Association
• NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing

? National Certified Phlebotomists are also accepted

Arizona Medical Assistant Requirements:

Candidates must meet at least one of the following:

1. Graduate from a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program
2. Completed Medical Assistant training through the armed forces
3. Hold a certification from an NCCA or ANSI accredited organization (with MA training completed)
