Position Title: Phlebotomist II

Location: 324 W Walnut St, Lebanon, KY 40033
Shift: 8am-5pm
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Assignment: 3 months 

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to work at an outpatient location in Lebanon, KY. The Phlebotomist II will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations, registering patients, maintaining accurate specimen records, and supporting a compliant and patient-focused environment.

The position involves working as part of a 2-person team and handling approximately 70–80 blood draws per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood specimen collection from pediatric through geriatric patients.
• Register patients using the required system.
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen manifests/logs.
• Follow company policies and compliance requirements.
• Provide patient-centered service throughout the specimen collection process.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Handle a high-volume workload of approximately 70–80 draws per day.
• Complete training on the required patient registration/system processes.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience.
• Hands-on experience performing blood draws.
• Ability to draw blood from patients of all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Ability to register patients and maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Patient-centered care experience.
• Diagnostic healthcare/laboratory background.

Schedule & Environment

• Onsite position in Lebanon, KY.
• Outpatient/IOP environment.
• No travel required.
• Team-based work environment.
• Approximately 70–80 patient draws per day.

Contract Details

• Contract-to-possible conversion opportunity.
• Potential conversion after 91 days.
• Potential to extend.
• Candidates must be open to the potential Labcorp conversion opportunity.
• Conversion compensation is determined by HR based on years of experience.

Interview Process

• Video conference interview.
• Interview process is expected to move within approximately 48–72 hours.
