Position Title: Phlebotomist I
Work Location: Asheville, NC – 24 Medical Park Drive
Assignment Duration: 3 Months
Work Schedule: 1st Shift – 7:30am–4:30pm M-F
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary:
This is an OBGYN IOP location. Candidate will be drawing about 20 patients a day.
They will also be performing specimen processing, Glucose testing, specimen testing on pap tests and urinalysis, and putting the order entries into the system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draw blood from approximately 20 patients daily
• Perform specimen processing
• Conduct Glucose testing
• Perform testing on pap tests and urinalysis
• Enter order information into system

Qualification & Experience:

• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience
• HS/GED required
• Color vision screening required
• Vaccinations: Negative THC screen required
• RHepatitis B, RTB, RMMR, RT-DAP, RVaricella (per compliance)

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Onsite clinical setting
• Ability to stand and draw blood for extended periods

Additional Information:

• Potential to convert to FTE, pay based on experience at time of conversion
