Position Title: Pharmacy Technician
Duration : 3 Months
Work Location :
Onsite. Ft Worth, Texas location 13501 Park Vista Blvd Suite 150 Ft Worth, TX 76177
Onsite Cary, North Carolina location 11800 Weston Parkway Cary, NC 27513
Shift Timings: Mon -Fri 10:00 am to 7:00 pm CST with 1 hour lunch break

2+ years as a certified pharmacy technician with data entry experience. Must be in good standing with the board of pharmacy.

Purpose
The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for performing intake and Rx Setup (facilitating the processing of prescriptions) activities, and functions in accordance with company policies and procedures to assist in the flow of dispensing drugs to the patient.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Review contents of referral to ensure complete and accurate information has been received
• Create a patient profile from a scanned or faxed image by entering correct patient and provider information to ensure all other groups can successfully serve the patient
• Conduct initial check of prescription to ensure clinical accuracy for processing
• Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarification, missing information, or patient concerns so that all information is collected and accurate before it reaches other teams for furthering processing
• Updating concise progress notes to ensure other roles within the workflow can quickly assess the status of the referral
• Enter new provider information (i.e., National Provider Identifier) accurately into the system so that the Business Intelligence group can complete their reporting
• Perform other duties as assigned 2+ years pharmacy Data Entry experience
