Job Title: Pharmacy Shipping Clerk Duration: 12 Months Location: Lake Mary, FL-32746 Shift: The training shift will be 8:00am-4:30pm EST. Please ensure candidates understand their shift after training will fall between the hours of operations which are 7am-10pm EST, and their shift will be assigned once training is completed.
Summary:
Responsible for various duties related to packing and shipping of pharmaceutical products for Specialty pharmacies.
The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk must adhere to the safety practices of the pharmacy to ensure the quality of care for patients.
Package products, patient paperwork, and any additional materials accurately and efficiently to the manufacturer’s requirements.
Handle the packaging of hazardous materials/products based on USP 800 guidelines, demonstrate a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function.
Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed-upon deadlines, and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Experience/Knowledge/Skill in:
Efficient in using email programs, and instant messaging communications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail experience with non-commercial pharmacy.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Adaptability and flexibility, Efficient typing skills.
Minimum Required:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Ideally have 1-2 years of shipping or warehouse experience in healthcare or pharmacy work experience.
Efficiently work in a high pace environment that always requires attention to detail.
Effectively multitask and handle multiple requests at the same time, easily navigate between multiple computer programs with dexterity.
Able to sit, stand, and use computer screens for extended periods of time, capable of lifting 20lbs as needed.
