Job Title: Pharmacy Shipping Clerk 1 Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of extension depending upon business requirements and performance) Location: 2500 W Lake Mary Blvd, #112, Lake Mary, FL, 32746 Shift: The training shift will be 8:00a-4:30p EST. The shift after training will be determined once training is completed and based on the needs of the business at that time. Please ensure candidates understand their shift after training will fall between the hours of operations which are 7a-10p EST, and their shift will be assigned once training is completed. Candidates should not have PTO authorized during this training period.
Summary:
The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk is responsible for various duties related to packing and shipping of pharmaceutical products for Specialty pharmacies.
The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk must adhere to the safety practices of the pharmacy to ensure the quality of care for patients.
Essential Job Duties: Package products, patient paperwork, and any additional materials accurately and efficiently to the manufacturer’s requirements.
Handle the packaging of hazardous materials/products based on USP 800 guidelines, demonstrate a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function, Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed-upon deadlines, and Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Experience: Minimum Required: Ideally have 1-2 years of shipping or warehouse experience in healthcare or pharmacy work experience.
Experience/knowledge/skill in:
Efficient in using email programs, and instant messaging communications, Strong verbal and written communication skills, Attention to detail experience with non-commercial pharmacy, Strong time management and organizational skills, Adaptability and flexibility, Efficient typing skills. Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses
Minimum Required:
The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Efficiently work in a high pace environment that requires attention to details at all times.
Effectively multitask and handle multiple requests at the same time, Easily navigate between multiple computer programs with dexterity, Able to sit, stand, and use computer screens for extended periods of time, Capable of lifting 20lbs as needed.
