Job Description

Title: Patient Access Rep I (Part-Time)
Location: Onsite - Saint Clair Shores - MI, 48081
Duration: 2 months 
Shift:  1st shift, 7 AM to 1 PM Monday-Friday

Job Summary:
  • The main function of a patient access representative is to act as the liaison between the organization and the customer/patient.
  • They will provide product education and handle a wide variety of questions while ensuring a positive customer service experience.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between the organisation, the customer base and patients.
  • Resolve routine customer requests with products or services via inbound, and outbound calls, or the Internet.
  • Speak with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using protocol procedures.
  • Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of the solution.
  • Provide additional customer education and information as needed.
  • Qualify and establish inbound new customers requesting the organisation's products and services.
  • Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
  • Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.

  • Will be assisting with greeting patients, checking in on kiosks, and escorting them to the phlebotomy team at a high-volume patient service centre located in St. Clair Shores, MI.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations and technologically inclined.
