Job Description

Job Title: Partnership and Contracts Manager IV
Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote
 
The Partnership and Contracts Manager will partner with all levels across the organization to gather and understand operational and financial information to maximize contract value and reduce risk to the owner. The candidate must be experienced in contract management, including managing compliance, scope, pricing, contract structure, and incentives.
The Partnership and Contracts Manager will manage a variety of renewable energy project contracts and will track compliance and risk items on the owner’s behalf. They will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders within a cohesive and high impact contracts program. The responsibilities of this role include contract management, contract administration, contract compliance tracking, contract administration, collaboration with Origination, Legal, Finance, and external project owners. They will also work to find opportunities for process improvement within the contract space, in order to drive consistency and efficiency across the organization, along with our cross-functional and external partners.
This position is a contract and located in our Fremont offices or remote. However, project locations will be spread across the United States and the world. This is a great opportunity to join a growing asset management team and work on exciting renewable energy projects throughout the globe.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage a portfolio of contracts and associated deliverables throughout the development, construction and operational phases of the contract lifecycle
  • Assist with urgent ad-hoc requests and contracts look-ups
  • Provide contract administration and contract management support to the team
  • Act as a liaison between the Legal Department and internal business clients and external contacts
  • Manage and coordinate various projects and contracts management responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including accounting, finance, and tax departments
  • Efficiently navigate our contract management system and procedures, including educating/training internal/external clients
  • Onboard new contracts into our contract management system
  • Assist with the beginning to end process for contracts (sometimes includes assisting with approvals or signatures/electronic)
  • Ensure that signed contracts are finalized, including communication to relevant parties
  • Manage contract close-out, extension, or renewal and draft and review, negotiate and finalize certain forms of contracts, such as confidentiality and event agreements
  • Develop and define KPIs for the purposes of quarterly and annual business reviews
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years experience as a paralegal or contract administrator
  • 8+ years experience in the contract or legal space
  • Experience in change management and contract management
  • Experience with various contract delivery methodologies
  • Experience multi-tasking, reprioritizing, working independently and responding to inquiries
  • Experience extracting, conveying, and understanding information from contracts
  • Knowledge of contract administration principles
  • Experience in all Microsoft Office applications (ex: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Sign (or similar electronic signing tool)
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in renewable energy asset management
