Job Summary:
This multifaceted role combines real estate and corporate paralegal functions, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Claim Review and Documentation:
Review incoming claims related to property disputes, ensuring thorough understanding and documentation of each case.
Organize and maintain detailed records of all relevant information and documentation pertaining to property disputes.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and evidence for claims review and resolution.
Research and Document Review:
Conduct comprehensive research on legal and factual issues relevant to property disputes, utilizing public and company databases.
Review property-related details on public websites, title policies, HOA governing documents, and other relevant materials
Analyze documents and extract relevant information to support dispute resolution efforts.
Prepare reports summarizing research findings and recommendations for the legal team's review.
Additional Responsibilities:
Prepare legal instruments such as powers of attorney and signing authorities.
Assist with processing easement requests and responding to requests for corporate authority documentation.
Collaborate with the legal team on various real estate and corporate law matters as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with specific experience in real estate and or litigation preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in legal research and document preparation software.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
