BACKGROUND - Identity and Access Management experience especially with Privileged Access Management
The Sr. Project Manager is expected to lead all aspects of large-scale and highly complex technology projects in Identity and Access Management, including project planning; requirements gathering; execution; schedule; risk management and mitigation; technical feasibility and functionality; resource assignment; deliverable quality; communication; and finance. Implement projects from initiation through implementation ensuring completion within scope, budget, and timelines. Effectively manage through changes in project scope, schedule, and costs; document and track changes and action items; assign ownership; and timely communicate to management and stakeholders any adjustments to estimates, risks, plans, scopes, and deliverables. Gather and analyze data to identify trends that support visibility to potential issues and inconsistencies; anticipate and identify issues inhibiting successful program / project delivery. Understand and ensure projects meet business policies and standards. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, matrixed team environment and skilled at change leadership. Quickly learn areas of responsibilities and concepts of related technologies. Create and drive project plans that may involve multiple teams and stakeholders made up of internal workers, third parties, vendors, consultants, and business partners.
Lead project teams in the development and implementation of detailed work/task plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports. Upskill team members in project management concepts and task estimations. Ensure project tasks progress, remove blockers, and escalate to management any repeated or significant delays. Demonstrate personally and promote within the team principles of ownership and tenacity. Develop trend-based, metric-rich dashboards/reports to measure status to project milestones/completion that accurately forecasts schedule and budgetary risks; tailor presentations to all levels of management; publish reports weekly, monthly, or quarterly as directed.
Qualifications
6-10 years of experience with 5+ years of specialty in security related Project Management, including exposure to Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile methodologies
Experience leading Access Management, Identity Governance & Administration and/or Privileged Access Management projects for large organizations especially in Operations preferred.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow and SharePoint preferred.
Applies critical thinking to proactively identify/mitigate risk and minimize issue occurrence for successful project delivery and business analysis.
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of the company as well as external parties; streamlines partner communications; concisely presents complex information/recommendations in terms meaningful to various audiences.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and work well independently and within a team environment.
Ability to manage through conflict.
Advanced organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Excellent skills facilitating meetings including publishing of agendas in advance and post-meetings summaries/notes.
Have a strong passion for detail; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
