Position: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Dallas/Fort Worth
Type: Direct Hire
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for high-ticket, consultative sales through on-site inspections, proposal development, and full-cycle sales management within an assigned territory.
Conduct pre-sale pool inspections (PSI)
Assess pool condition and fiberglass conversion feasibility
Build informal and customized estimates
Educate homeowners and investors on the fiberglass conversion process
Present fiberglass conversion solutions for projects ranging from $10,000 to $75,000
Manage the full sales cycle from inspection through close and final walkthrough
Coordinate project handoff and execution with operations
Conduct final walkthroughs and deliver warranties
Maintain pipeline activity and backlog revenue targets (~$50,000 monthly receivables)
Maintain accurate CRM records
Prospect during slower months using email lists, call sheets, networking, and outreach
Approximately 50% in-field inspections
Approximately 50% remote/home office work (calls, proposals, CRM management)
Sales cycle length: 2–8 weeks
Proven success in outside sales with $10,000+ average ticket size
Strong consultative selling skills
In-person closing experience (B2C or B2B)
Professional presence and strong communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Technical aptitude (CRM usage, laptop-based work, inspection processes)
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
Pool industry experience
Home improvement sales experience (roofing, windows, remodeling, outdoor living)
Construction or remodeling background
Real estate or property investor knowledge
Established DFW-area network within a 60–90 mile radius
