About the Role

Prad4x4™ is looking for a highly driven Operations Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing and production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of production plans, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving operational excellence while supporting the company's growth in the automotive and offroad vehicle sector.

This is a leadership role that requires strong cross-functional coordination between Production, R&D, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining efficiency, cost control, and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing and production operations.
• Develop and manage production planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with R&D, Procurement, Stores, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing activities.
• Monitor production progress and proactively resolve bottlenecks affecting delivery schedules.
• Implement and maintain quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing workflows.
• Manage inventory levels, material availability, and resource allocation for efficient production.
• Ensure workplace safety, process compliance, and adherence to company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Track operational KPIs including productivity, quality, inventory, delivery performance, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on capacity planning, budgeting, process improvements, and strategic operational initiatives.
• Prepare operational reports and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations/Manufacturing Management is an added advantage.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the automotive, off-road vehicle, fabrication, or engineering industries.
• Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, workflow optimization, and resource management.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using ERP/MRP or manufacturing management software.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain coordination, procurement, inventory management, and production scheduling.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in automotive manufacturing or vehicle customization.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, assembly, and vehicle integration processes.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.
• Passion for automotive engineering, off-road vehicles, and product innovation.
