Job Description We are seeking an experienced Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) Engineer to support the development of O-RAN networking infrastructure for a private 5G deployment. The role involves building and optimizing O-RAN-compatible solutions, collaborating on UE-side applications, and developing radio resource control algorithms (xApps) to improve network and application performance through cross-layer optimization.
Responsibilities
Develop and support O-RAN networking infrastructure for private 5G networks.
Design and implement radio resource control algorithms using xApps.
Collaborate on UE-side (User Equipment) application development.
Optimize network performance and cross-layer communication.
Work closely with engineering teams on O-RAN deployment and integration.
Required Qualifications
MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of relevant experience.
Hands-on experience with:
Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN)
Private 5G network deployment
Strong C/C++ programming
Knowledge of wireless communication systems and networking concepts.
