Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) – Key Responsibilities
Serve as the site’s designated first-aid provider and implement the Global Safety Program.
Provide first aid, triage, and referral to outside medical providers for injured employees.
Maintain accurate records of all care provided to associates.
Manage first-aid kits, inventory, and ensure proper cleaning and restocking of equipment.
Recommend job accommodations for employees with medical restrictions.
Submit daily activity logs and monthly incident analyses with safety recommendations.
Spend frequent floor time coaching associates and managers on safe work habits.
Attend and speak at daily start-up meetings and weekly safety committee meetings.
Greet new hires during orientation and provide one-on-one safety guidance.
Participate in incident investigations and weekly case management review meetings.
Initiate and manage Workers’ Compensation cases as needed.
Update communication boards with health and safety tips for the site.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of each department’s tasks to improve safety and standard work processes.

Effective communication of health and safety needs at all organizational levels.
Ability to remain composed during emergency situations.
Basic Qualifications
Valid State EMT-Basic and/or NREMT certification.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in pre-hospital emergency services.
CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Maintain all required medical credentials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience leading and managing a team.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
Experience with Workers’ Compensation procedures.
