Job Description

Job Title: Office Administration
Duration: 6 Months Assignment
Location: Detroit, MI 48239

Description:

The primary objective of this contractor is to ensure plant tours at our Detroit location go smoothly and support the Plant Tour Lead with all day-to-day logistics and administrative tasks related to tours.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a key point of contact between internal employees, industry contacts (hotel/food/events), and the plant tour team.
  • Ensure plant tours are executed smoothly, consistently, and adapt to feedback.
  • Manage our giveaway inventory and notify when levels need to be reordered.
  • Support administrative review of the plant tour booking smart sheet and internal tour requests, ensuring all upcoming tours are accounted for, documented, and within the program guidelines.
  • Organize necessary exception support personnel for larger tour groups.
  • Build relationships with local contacts for customer/dealer accommodations/food/entertainment.
  • Manage the badging for the guests coming into the Detroit plant for tours.
  • Manage on-site logistics related to tours such as ensuring batteries are charged, the correct number of golf carts for transport, room set-up, room reservations, etc.
  • Account/manage all expense reports related to plant tour activities.
  • Support the data management and preparation of monthly KPI data.
Desired Skill Set:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing directions/objectives.
  • Ability to problem solve under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Act as ambassador of DTNA.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills/presentation skills.
  • Ability to stay on-site until the guests leave the property (flexible hours on tour dates)
  • Ability to work with little supervision / ambiguous environments.
