Network Security Engineer

• CCNA Certification.
• Experience working through the design, implementation, and management of a wide area network.
• Experience with WAN/LAN Networks, SD-Wan, Firewalls, Routers.
• Must have 5+ years of experience configuring CheckPoint, Palo Alto, or Fortinet firewalls (experience in any of these firewalls)
• Must have experience gathering security requirements and designing network security
• Must have experience defining and configuring firewall policies
• Must have experience optimizing firewall rules
• Must have experience configuring CheckPoint, Palo Alto, or Fortinet VPN
• Must have experience configuring dynamic protocols RIP, OSPF, and BGP
• Must have an excellent understanding of security architecture and integration
• Must be proficient in Visio diagramming and design documentation

• Collaborate with Server and Application Development Team to design and implement functional company networks.
• Establish and maintain the digital communication infrastructure, including WAN, wireless, and LAN Networks
• Procure Network equipment and manage subcontractors involved with the network installation.
• Install and Configure Enterprise Networking Hardware
• Create and Implement network security measures, including the design and management of Palo Alto NGFW
• Implement and maintain telephone systems for multi-office enterprises.
• Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
• Deal with escalated network support issues.
• Propose and create system design models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmer and development team.
• Gather network security requirements.
• Design Network Security solutions
• Configure/implement/upgrade Palo Alto/CheckPoint/Fortinet firewalls and VPN
• Configure Palo Alto/CheckPoint/Fortinet firewall policies
• Optimize firewall rules
• Configure dynamic protocols to include RIP, OSPF, and BGP

• Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure WAN optimization and efficiency.
• Ability to communicate technical information to other IT team members as well as outside departments and third-party vendors.
• Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot wireless networks and security infrastructure.
• Experience with implementing and managing VoIP technology in a corporate setting.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with strong desire to deliver quality technical solutions.
• Must be a highly collaborative team player that possesses the ability to adapt to a changing and fast paced work environment.
