Job Title: Network Engineer IV Location: Arlington, VA Duration: 24 Months
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of industry experience in network engineering.
Strong experience in large-scale DWDM and optical network deployments, including optical planning and modeling tools.
Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals and hands-on experience with IP protocol implementation.
In-depth knowledge of routing protocols, especially BGP and OSPF.
Experience working with Cisco router platforms including 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, and 76xx series, along with associated supervisory and line cards.
Strong analytical skills with proven expertise in network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Preferred Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience with the following technologies and protocols:
DWDM, T1/OTN
IPv4 & IPv6
TCP (internals and flow control)
BGP, OSPF
HSRP / GLBP
PIMv2, IGMP, LDP
TACACS
IPSec & VPNs
NetFlow
DNS, HTTP
