Title: Network Engineer IV Location: Arlington, VA (WAS17-COMerli) – 100% Onsite (5 days/week) Duration: 10 Months (Potential Extension Based on Performance & Business Need)
About the Role Client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer IV to support the deployment, scaling, and automation of one of the world’s largest and most complex networks. This role supports client Border Network scaling and decommissioning (Decom) activities to meet increasing customer demand. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, technically strong, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to design scalable, simple solutions are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, scale, and automate large-scale client network infrastructure
Support Border network scaling and decommissioning activities
Troubleshoot complex network issues
Collaborate onsite with network engineering teams
Deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative network solutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field OR relevant networking certifications
Strong troubleshooting and network analysis skills

802.2/3, 802.1d (VLANs/STP)
IPv4 & IPv6
TCP (internals & flow control)
