Title- MP&P Technical Analyst Duration- 6Months Location- Tukwila, WA Shift timings: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Regular and predictable attendance is required Client Research and Technology is seeking a Mid-Level Composite Technician (Level 3) to join our team in Tukwila, Washington.
Position Responsibilities: • Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications • Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures • Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations • Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications • Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes • Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers • Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology • Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • 1+ years of experience as a mechanic or technician • Good work ethic, high mechanical aptatude and knowledge of composite materials
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Experience working in a laboratory environment • Hand layup experience • Composite and metal bonding experience • AFP equipment operation experience • NC programming experience • VCP programming experience • Robot, gantry, lathe and mill operation experience • CAMS experience • Assembly experience • Structural test experience
