Pay rate starts at $32/hr
Shift:

Sun-Wed, 2pm-12am
Wed-Sat (2:00PM - 12:00AM)

Note:
Requirement is two years of post-secondary education in field of specialty.  Microbiology background preferred.
  

Job Description:
QC Microbiology Cell Therapy Group is looking for an engaged, self-driven individual interested in performing microbiology testing to support facility start up activities of the cell therapy building located in Devens, MA. 
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Performing facility/utility testing using conventional and computerized machines and work aids. 
Testing includes but is not limited to: Environmental Monitoring, Process Air and CO2, and Water Sampling activities according to prescribed standard operation procedures (SOPs).
Duties also include set up, adjustment and operation of laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • May include performing basic microbiology techniques including bioburden, microbial counts, and aseptic technique.
  • Collects, analyzes and reports sample results.
  • Tests samples to verify conformity to specifications.
  • Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment.
  • May prepare graphs and charts.
  • May participate in calibration of laboratory instruments.

  • Interviews; Depending on the size of the selection committee, several interviews are scheduled for each candidate. We will coordinate with candidates to set up interviews with our client.
  • Job offer; After completion of all the interviews, Hiring Manager confers and evaluates applicants based on the interviews, job experience, skills and talent assessments, and all other relevant information (recommendations, e.g.). A top choice should be identified and agreed on.
  • Background checks; After Job offer, background checks would be conducted to review candidates’ criminal record, to verify employment history and eligibility, and to run credit checks. Drug testing may also be warranted, depending on the nature of the job.
  • Onboarding; Based on the background checks, first day reporting details would be shared with candidate upon the client ‘instructions.
